History of Smedley Orthodontics: Providing Highest Quality Orthodontic Care Since 1975
Smedley Orthodontics was founded by Dr. Larry Smedley in 1975, who is a lifelong resident of Chester County and a Downingtown High School Alum. Smedley Orthodontics began with offices in West Chester and Downingtown. The Coatesville location was established in 2007.
Dr. Larry retired in 2021 after 46 years of patient care. For the last 9 years, Dr. Larry got to enjoy working alongside his children Dr. Chris and Dr. Kendra. He can still be found frequently stopping by the office to visit with the staff.
Dr. Chris and Dr. Kendra are honored to be continuing the Smedley legacy and have had the privilege of having the absolute best role model and mentor in their father.
